Temperatures dropped progressively this afternoon as a low centre
approached, heavy rain then turned to snow for a short time on the back
edge of a trough/front. I notice xcweather was reporting heavy snow at
Trawscoed not long before that.

Now up at four days in this March with snow falling - which for a
sea-level location is unusual.

We had about 10mm yesterday as well. I know that we are quite a bit
higher than you but, in my short experience (14 years) it is also
unusual to have 4 days of snow in March.

And maybe more to come this week for you Howard - not a pleasant
prospect at this farming time of the year I imagine.

Cheers
James

No, it isn't. Although I am not lambing this year and can get my flock
into a shed. It is a lot worse for others. I am also worried that I am
running out of space on my web site to record days when we have snow. ;-)
