Here in upper Coverdale we have continuous light snow (and have had for 36
hrs) and some deep drifts (higher than the ground floor windows in some
places). My house is completely cut off even in a Range Rover so its a long
walk to the pub! Easily the worst snow I have seen since 87 although I have
only had one winter up here.
