Snowiest winter since 1978/79

The amazing thing about today (and yesterday) is that not a flake has been
observed. This location has snow when others don't and none when others do,
it really is a world of its own out here on the Wolds.
Hi, David,
The Wolds area is certainly interesting and often not in line with the rest
of the North East, let alone the UK. I always found it quite continental as
rain / snow bands from the west struggled to get there. In a northerly it is
different again as the North Sea effect can be really strong. I also found
it warm and dry in summer which appealed to me together with the chalk rocks
which seemed to make it brighter. The there are the summer TS (:0)
Best wishes,
Ken
