The wind vane is indicating a steady northerly but the sound isn't quite
right for that direction, the wrong windows are whistling... Having just
peered out of a window at the vane the alignment looks a bit out and we are
in NNE'ly to NE'ly.

Is GDF reporting correctly in the raw METARs(?). Seems more than one website
hasn't got wind information from GDF so presumably the instruments are
broken/frozen up.
