Default Daffodils - OT ish

Just wondered how the Daffs were doing around the UK, as I
know some of you
(Will) note the date of the first one. Graham, don't think you
need to reply on this
one.

Noticed some just opening in tubs outside a certain block of
flats in Edinburgh the day before yesterday. Only leaves in
evidence on on the roadsides and on the banks of the Dee in
Aberdeen today, however.

To keep on topic, more snow for much of the night, but little
accumulation. The
radar suggests heavier falls than actual amounts. Snowing here
in York, but not
settling.

Drove home from Edinburgh, with a lengthy detour near Arbroath,
today. Intemittent snow showers, some quite heavy and affecting
visibility, and car thermometer showing about 2ºC, but the snow
wasn't melting so the thermometer must be reading a few degrees
high. Then two or three clear sunny hours in the middle of the
day, with biting easterly wind. Then more snow showers in the
late afternoon and evening, car thermometer getting down to -3ºC
on the A96 at Glens of Foudland. However all the roads were dry
throughout, and the snow wasn't heavy enough to lie or cause a
problem.

Can't see whether the daffs are out here because it's dark!
