What about the summer of 1995?
I call it the forgotten summer as nobody seems to remember it, yet I
reckon it gives 1976 a run for its money. I spent that summer surfing
down at Sennen in Cornwall. To say the weather was stunning would be an
understatement.

There was also 1989 and 1990; ahhhh, those were the days.

Then again, June & July 2006 until things went off track in August but
recovered in September to give one of the warmest, sunniest and best
Autumns I've known.
