Also 16.4 (highest of the year) in Penzance.

After 4 days of basically unbroken sunshine still mainly sunny this morning, the low cloud (so far remaining off the north coast)

52.6 hours of sunshine in the last 4 days at Bosullow on top of the Penwith moors. Alan Blake ( http://www.sunrecorder.net/ ) does lose a little at dawn and dusk due to the surrounding hills. It could be as much as 45mins per day at this time of year, assuming the sky is also clear.
