Max today of 8.9c in the sunshine we did actually manage 2 hours today.

A lot of heavy showers, some big hail showers too with temps falling
down to 4.9c in the really heavy showers.

Forecast for the next 10 days looks dire!

Mean for this month so far is 0.6c BELOW average but hey what's new,
seems to be the norm these days.

Raining again now and current temp 4.6c

I thought I would struggle to make double figures yesterday but
I made it, just! Max of 10.0°C and that was only because there
some sun between the showers.

I hate these cool and cloudy May days, they are so depressing.

I always think of May as a warm and optimistic month, with summer only
just around the corner but it seems as though winter is refusing to
loosen its grip, except for a few days over the recent Bank Holiday.
