I, but the Tweed rises out of a Northern Corrie!
It isn't entirely obvious from the picture but the river on the left (The
Teviot) was by far the most dominant of the two rivers today, presumably a
lot more rain fell in the catchment area of the Tevoit than that of the
Tweed.
I always find it fascinating to observe which of these rivers is more in
spate after interesting (some call it bad) weather, it is not that unusual
for one river to run brown and the other blue!
