Sounds like your temperature sensor might be over exposed -
It catches the early morning sun at this time of year but is in shade from
about 0800. It can be affected by warm air from the shed roof on still days,
there was a bit of air movement but perhaps not enough. Today is hovering
around 15 C.
My real comment was about the rather rapid drop of 8 C or so that I couldn't
match up with anything on the charts. A drop at about 0.5 C/minute over the
15 mins or so with the fastest being quicker than 1 C/min. Sun in/out doesn't
change the recorded temperature *that* quickly.
