Have a new Kestrell 4000. Does anyone know of any hidden keystroke
functions??

I have had one for about six months and am very happy with it. I don't know
of any hidden tricks (have mislaid the manual in any case) but it all seems
pretty logical.

Cross checks with numerous other reports such as metars, suggests that the
level of accuracy is much better than the specification. Indeed, mine seems
to be +/- 0.1 degrees C.
Good battery life as I have only just had to replace the first set. A fine
piece of kit. Mine lives outside but sheltered with a cover to protect from
rain.

One caution is that radiant heat from the hand can quickly upset the
readings. If anything, the instrument is TOO sensitive.
