It's nothing to do with that. If the highest temperatures (by day and night) are or are going to be in London then quite simply that's what's going to be reported.


There are worse things about TV weather presentation to worry about.

True. The highest temperatures have been forecast to be in the London area. I wouldn't be surprised either if they reach 32/33C this weekend.
