Default 14 on the trot - drought starts tomorrow!



A lot of people are saying that 'compared to this time last year......'.
Well, they'll have to stop saying that because from tomorrow onwards,
the weather in July 2012 improved markedly from the 19th onwards and was
the start of much drier, sunnier and warmer weather.

I'm glad you mentioned that. There was 207 hours of sunshine last July at Bossulow, near Penzance. That's marginally above normal and was quite an achievement after the 1st half of the month.

Mind you already around 200 hours this July.
