Default Cumbrian Rain

Finally back on line after a few days of misery without power, only limited
damage to the house and fortunately no flooding . I had no idea it was as
bad up here until the TV was back on this morning. I have lived and worked
in Carlisle for 20 years and never thought I would see it like it was -
enough said

some of my photos can be found at

Can I thank all those that warned of this weather, especially the Met
Office - spot on.

Rainfall

Interest to hear from anyone with a rain gauge in Cumbria.Totals were for
Friday/Saturday/Sunday please if possible, try to collate a picture of how
much rain fell and where

many thanks
