If true, hats off to Derek Brockway who said on Radio Wales 2 days ago that
he'd just seen charts indicating that next Thursday might see an end to
this spell of hot weather.

To be fair, this has been hinted at for several days now on both GFS
and ECMWF - he's far from the only one who noticed.

Doesn't mean it will happen, of course. We shall see.
