Here are the more notable dry(ish) spells this year I've recorded:

Feb 15th - March 6th (20 days) = 0.0 mm
24th March - 7th April (15 days) = 0.0 mm
April 14th - May 7th (24 days) = 5.6 mm
May 30th - 10th June (12 days) 0.0 mm
July 4th - 21st July (17 days) = 0.0 mm
June 24th - 21st July (24 days) = 5.3 mm

Since mid-February lengthy dry spells have dominated. No wonder the
countryside is bone-dry and brown.

Monthly sunshine total now up to 256 hours. Should exceed 300 hours
quite easily this month.
