I hope it lasts through the Bank Holiday. (First of all, I hope the forecast achieves outcome, for the middle of next week, mind!).

The NW of Scotland is missing out, but the low that wasn't forecast 10 days ago is spoiling the party for too many others today. It's been a very good summer for my forecasts, but this is the first failure in the last 9. My 10-day prediction for the bank holiday may well go down a similar tube.......

Has been a lovely day today here in Sussex/Surrey. Has been getting
warmer as the week progresses.
