Yes, yes - that's just a self-evident restatement of the potential
usefulness of longer-range forecasts.

My point was about whether anyone outside of the professionals can/could do
this (ie consensus correlation) on a properly objective basis? (The critical
point being whether the numeric forecast data is actually available publicly
in gridded form? Any hobbyist with a modicum of programming skills could
then take it from there.)
