For the umpteenth time a weather warning was issued here and there was none. This really is a frequent occurrence.

Conversely we are ignored in winter when other parts have the warnings. I'll try to log these in future and you'll see what I mean.

The safest option is to look for weather warnings in summer and head for the beach. In winter when there is no warning, pack the snow shovel and a thermos in the car.
