Theres some lovely individuals living here, though - real salt of the earth types. I wouldnt swap it for the world. Surely youve heard the phrase "as the lawns grow wider so the minds grow narrower". I went on a day trip to Gillingham in the summer - I couldnt believed the rascist 'banter' that was going on in that cafe near the station. Other people sitting there just seemed to accept it - or were too frightened to say anything. No Ill stick with the Heygate, thanks

Reminds me of a Southwark 'community day' recently where kids who had done bad had now done good' so to speak. So these ex 'bad' kids who now get paid money for writing songs about 'bad' people's stories told in very bad songs, gets up and mumbles how he wants to give something back to the community. To which the chap next to me shouted.
