Default Goodbye Winter

Not sure how many others on this NG feel, but I for one feel that the UK
winters especially here in the southeast are set mild for the forseeable
future.
For a number of years now I have looked forward to a good old fashioned
winter with at least some snow to liven thing up, but here we are nearly
half way through January and still nothing in sight.

I find the likes of Metcheck and TWO consistently forecasting a change to
colder conditions, but always ten to fourteen days away. And it just doesn't
happen.

Roll on the warm days of summer with the barbie alight and a few glasses of
red wine.

Len, I wrote off winter last February, but we will always have to put up
with severe winter forecasts from parts of the private sector for years
to come. Why global warming has knackered our winters so badly I still
do not fully understand - see my thread UK Winters; where I am trying to
seek help.
Cheers
Paul
