For this region. 20.2mm in AWS since 6.30pm makes it second
heaviest fall

of the year. And good modelling at 48hrs by GFS that said at least
16mm.

Still light rain falling at 1.38am

Good to get your data Scott, but for some people it will be pretty

meaningless because you do not give your location.

For everybody it's meaningless. What City/Town do you live in or near

to Scott? At the moment it's the counties of Essex, Kent, Sussex,

Surry, or Middlesex. ;-)

I think Scott is in East London.

FWIW, here in Blackheath the rain gauge was about 29mm this morning, and
I see there was a flood alert for the Ravensbourne catchment last night
too.

Is it ever again going to be dry enough to do a bit of gardening without
getting soaked?

I was mowing my back lawn this afternoon, and I was thinking about
summer 2007, when my lawn was waterlogged for weeks on end. I had marsh
grass!
