Just a note to say that Tuesday was the coldest September day

I've already had my first sub 10°C day of the season, 9.6°C on the
16th.

eh? First sub 10 C here was way back on 6th Aug, early hours of the
morning though. Looks to be about half a dozen other sub 10's in Aug
as well.

I meant sub 10°C as a *max* as I think you know full well.
Steve's post was obviously referring to maximum temperatures.

I recorded a min of 9.7°C on the 6th August, the first of the 'season'
but given that the previous sub 10°C min was July 5th (also 9.7°C)
they can ocurr throughout the summer and any idea of a first/last
date when such a temp is reached is meaningless.
