Default Mount Sinabung in Karo, North Sumatra erupts.

Interesting that there is a Cat 5 in the area. I wonder how much of that is due to aerosols. I wonder how much of this sort of thing is due to volcanic activity.

An upper atmosphere anticyclone and a volcano erupting dramatically not too far away?
How likely a coincidence is that?
Or how probable that I am the first to wonder?
