Yesterday between about 11.30am and 2.30pm, light showers were forming
over Shrops, Staffs and the West Midlands, before they faded away over
the East Midlands.

Were these showers formed by convergence of a sea breeze from the Irish
sea, coming over the Cheshire plain, and wind from mid-Wales?
