Writing off winter on October 21st just because all the models
are showing mild/zonal conditions for the forseable future is simply crazy.

I wouldn't even particularly worry about it on Nov 21st, never mind Oct
21st.


After the last few winter I've almost forgotten what a mild zonal winter
feels like. :-)
