I just wish that my eyes would make

I had to dig out my late father-in-law's magnifying glass this
morning to be able to read the tiny instructions on a mains
adapter!
Yes, I've noticed that instructions are printed in a more blurry
font recently, too.
The worst thing for me at the moment is that I dont seem to need my
glasses to read a newspaper, but I do to read a computer screen which
is maybe another 6 inches further away.
I'm the same but also use a second pair for TV and a third for
distance. As one eye continues to deteriorate, I may have to think of
getting monocles instead. I wonder if they are cheaper than specs,
they ought to be. ;-)
I think that bi-focals are going to be the choice for me. I tried
varifocals, but I dont like the way they seem to go out of focus around
the edges.
