Well not by old days standards but last night was the first air

the season and is equal earliest with November 11th 2010 since
October 2008.
-0.8C at 4ft here and -1.6C on the ground - so first air frost and
ground frost arrived together. It is a touch early - the median for
here, going back 52 years, is November 16th.
Later than last year - that was November 6th (-1C)
Definitely late here. Median first air frost date is 20-something
October (I forget the precise date) and I'm still waiting (although
Shawbury, Hereford and other frost hollows have had their first
during the past week)
