Darren,

The party's on again regarding a northerly plunge according to the 06z
runs - but such a long way ahead who can tell.

Why is it that so many 06z runs are more keen to bring a northerly
plunge across the UK than the later 12z and 18z runs?

It seems strange that the models(especially GFS) have been
persistently trying to bring in this change of type in "ten to fifteen
days time" for nearly two weeks now. The Azores High seemingly just
won't quit....Now where's that giant pin?
