Ice storms from Texas to Ohio seem to be taking the place of good old fashioned tornado supercells. I wonder if telewhatsitcalled has been harvested by meteorologists for that phenomena yet. It is a field ready for rich pickins.

(Please don't tell me they are still watching Twister with a view to building bigger and better Dorothys.)
