Problems are set to continue in the Canaries this week.
AEMet have issued a red alert (the highest level) for very heavy rain (up to 60 mm in one hour,
and up to 180 mm in 12 hours) which is expected today in the island of La Palma and tomorrow in
Tenerife. The more easterly islands (Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote) are on amber
alert for Thursday.
