I set a new record of 28mph here, but since I've only been recording
for 2 days... 
You must be very sheltered, because Filton and Lulsgate were recording
40-45knot gusts, although I know they are a good distance south.
By the looks of next week's forecasts, that record won't last long anyway!
It didn't - recorded 33mph SSE at 23:03.
Given how sheltered it is here, I dread to think what the speed must've
been in more exposed areas! Even the above was pretty alarming, roaring
through the trees...
