Damage widespread in Devon this morning, but no reports of anyone having been killed, as a result of the storm, yet; thank goodness**. Lots of trees down and transport disruption as a result (18 trees on rail lines reported). Lots of flooding and properties damaged. Main rail line from Bristol blocked by floodwater between Taunton and Exeter *again*. Looks like a long bus ride for my daughter from Bristol. 3 panels of my fence down again and repairs needed, but the goose is definitely pretty fat down here in Dawlish (which was spared property flooding, though the Brook overflowed its banks). Off to the gym soon, so I'll see what damage has been caused on the routes over the Haldon hills.
