I spent the last two days in my usual haunt of NW Ireland. After the gales
and rain of Friday night, Saturday was a superb warm sector day with almost
record September temperatures. Lee wave activity was evident, as Bernard
Burton's image shows:

I took a few images of one of the wave clouds and was fascinated by the
