Usually you get successive runs at T+384 from the GFS that show all

sorts of variations, but for a week or two now it's been stuck in a

Significant? Probably not, but one can hope.


What I have there is a significant anticyclone blocking the western half of the North Atlantic and a not all that significant but large Icelandic Low not so Icelandic though.
