Default Quite a nice day, but.....

In article .com,
Tudor Hughes writes:
This is the latest from one of my favourite exotic weather places,
Río Gallegos, Argentina, 52 S, 69 W.

SAWG 161300Z 25045G57KT 9999 FEW030 16/01 Q0989

meaning: (9 a.m. local time) Wind WSW force 9, gusting to force 11.
Vis 10 km. 2 oktas at 3000 ft (probably shallow Cu). Temp 16,
dewpoint 1. Pressure 989. It's midsummer down there, oddly, the
windiest time of year.

With wind that high and humidity that low, the fire risk must be very
high. Crops must take an awful lot of irrigating too (or is it a
desert?).
