The World Bank sounds like the ideal benefactor for continuing Thatcher's misrule. Let me just state my POV in this: Ever since the desecration of the mid latitude forests, from the 1850's the world's climate has been tampered with. And ever since equatorial, tropical and subtropical countries have had the forests ripped out of them things have got worse.

There is no data on the planet that can decipher things in favour of the carbon dioxide statistics mongers, one way or the other.

Put the trees back and see if things improve in the 70 to 300 years they take to thrive and then we will know either way. I think that it will take a king with the wisdom, power and resources of Jesus Christ to embark on that scheme before it is too late though. (I have picked out a nice little post-apocalypse spot, if I am still here when that happens.
