Some of you might've noticed my new Canterbury Weather website from my
signature line. I've been tweaking it (including moving it to a more
reliable server!) and think there's a fair bit of useful information on
there.
It's now nearly fully working - you can take a look at
http://www.canterburyweather.co.uk/
Features that are improved over the standard Davis WeatherLink software
are the better charts - you can pick and choose what data you show and
the charts are generated in real time. Data also uploads (in this case)
every 5 minutes, so the site always shows the latest data (unless
something breaks!).
What I'd like to know is whether you think the information is presented
clearly (or if it doesn't work). As part of this I have written software
that replaces the WeatherLink software and makes the data a lot more
accessible by using a standard database. It might be possible to tidy up
the code and make a version that other people could use for free, so
it'd be very useful to get feedback if this was to be the case.
