I can't believe there's more snow here than in Wanlockhead.
It doesn't happen very often!
A fairly level 8cms here, and snowing moderate to heavy since around 8.30am.
This is the greatest depth of snow at this site for 3 years, when we reached
8cm on 23rd February 2002.
A very nice site. Shame it's expected to rain this afternoon.
But the roads are a disaster, no doubt many will fail to get to work this
morning.
As ever, picture on the front page of my website.
Alex.

More snow overnight, we now have 6cm snow and 2 or 3 times that where it's
drifted. The snow on the ground is still drifting now in the F5
(estimated, anemometer frozen) SW'ly. Beautiful sky this morning, pinks
and blues, but darkening now from the west. Looks like it's going to start
snowing again shortly.
Temp -2.3C, overnight min -2.5. 988 mb.
