**On Monday 10th March, at T+240, the UK's weather will be dominated

by high pressure. For most areas, the weather will be settled, with

light winds and plenty of sunshine, for many areas. Early spring

frosts may be quite widespread, if skies stay clear at night, but

days will be pleasant and springlike, for many. It is not possible to

predict exactly where the centre of the anticyclone will be

positioned, with respect to the UK, but any rain will be confined to

windward coasts.**

'Days'?

Is this forecast for the 10th or for......

Oh never mind

I really hope you are right, when was the last time we had

any high pressure bar the odd transient ridge, early December?

It was indeed, early December. iIRC the weather changed during the second week and has remained solidly zonal ever since.
