Couple of brief drizzly showers since 09:00 today, amounting to 0.3mm, together with sunny intervals.
The front seemed to pep up as it moved across Cornwall & SW England this morning.

Penzance

Dry with pleasantly sunny spells since 11:00, bit breezy. Maximum of 15.1C
Total April Rainfall in Penzance was 66.7mm (83% of 1981-2010 norm).

The temperature anomaly was less than most of the UK as we were frequently on the west (cooler) side of fronts stuck over the UK. Mean 10.5C (+0.6C)

It did mean we sometimes had clean Atlantic air when many others did not, notably during the 'smoggy' spell.
