After a maximum of 21.4C yesterday (the consistency of maximum temperature has been quite something) a slightly fresher night last night, min 15.6C
Yesterday saw good sunny periods until 15:00, when there was a little showery rain, just 0.2mm. in the 24 hours to 09:00
Mainly sunny on the coast, and a touch warmer than the last few days. Currently 22.5C in Penzance, 22.5C on St. Martin's Scilly, 21.3C at Land's End..
Eventual Max in Penzance 22.8C. Interesting 3 way convergence visible across Mount's Bay in the Penryn area (between Falmouth & Redruth). NW sea breeze on the north coast, SW on the west coast of the Lizard, more S in Falmouth Bay. It appeared to be a virtually stationary Cb, but the radar showed individual cells moving east in the gradient wind. No anvil that I saw.
