Funnily enough I was just looking at same and you have more days but I
have just had 30 consecutive days with maxima above 22C, broken today by
a max of 21.3C. A measure of how sunny and bright it has been I was
amazed by the darkness in our living room at 9.30am this morning. I'd
forgotten what thick cloud could do!

This spring/summer I've got so used to getting up in the morning with
the warm, dazzling sunlight streaming in through the windows that last
week there was one morning when this didn't happen and it was cloudy and
dull. It came as a shock, everything seemed so dark and miserable.

Reminded me of those few weeks from early December to the middle of
January when the sun is only just rising (around 08:10) when I have to
get up in the morning for work and that's quite depressing. Thankfully
by early February the sun is up before I am!
