When you get a vantage pro station, get it wireless! Also get it with the
console too! as it acts as a data storage device when the pc isnt turned on!
so you dont loose data!

the vantage pro 1's should be cheap now as vp2 is out, but the only
improvement is wireless technology, nothing to do with weather!!

Thanks for your help and all the other replies. I have taken the plunge
and am getting a VP1 or possibly VP2 if the older model unavailable
