A line-squall went through here at 0705 local time. It showed up
sharply on the radar. Suddenly the rain was lashing on the windows
and autumn leaves could be seen furiously whirling around even
though it was dark.

What's all the fuss about, a bit of rain (circa 8mm of drizzle), a
gust of 30 knots and that's it, hardly noticeable. Now a lovely sunny
day with a wee breeze to keep me cool. Temperature is a pleasant 8C,
perfect for a day out on the moor.

Yes I know all the action is up north. Enjoy. :-)

Mean winds 35-40kts in the Channel so not all the action is oop
north. ;-)
