He means that blocking may happen in the week of 23rd January (next
week!) and that it's our "last chance corral" for a decent outbreak of
real Winter weather... before things start to warm up [as they
invariably do these days] in February.

The chances of blocking occurring will be (he thinks) heavily
influenced by what happens to the present colder trend in Eastern
