I'm issuing my winter forecast this week and I have already changed my
ideas once in the past week, might have to re-think again, perhaps to
something a little more juicy than "a changeable 1960s type winter, not as
wet as last year, colder than last year with normal amounts of snow (for
the modern era)".


Do you recall your 2010/11 winter forecast?
The *ping* as that entered your waste bin in mid December reverberated
