Default West Cornwall - Big Sea running

Quite a large swell now, an over the breakwater day http://www.sennen-cove.com/harbourcam.htm . Starting to look impressive from the surfy end of the cove http://magicseaweed.com/Live-Sennen-Webcam/65/

Relatively calm in Penzance, very different past Marazion to Praa Sands & Porthleven.

Another quite windy day, with gusts widely 40mph. Dull, but only the odd spot of drizzle in the wind. The temperature's been stuck anywhere between 11C & 13C for quite a long time now, the time of day makes no real difference.

The SST at the Penzance buoy is currently 12.3C around what it normally is in mid May. With quieter conditions forecast, it should feel relatively warm in the water for the numerous Christmas day swims.

Sennen in 2013 http://www.cornishman.co.uk/images/l...9063-large.jpg a lull in the storms at a fortuitous time!
