So would I Norman. In fact it reached 2.6 here and dropped below 0

before 1700, but barely fallen since then, so very odd.

Forecast temp for 1800z was -1. The actual temp at 1800z was -4.1. It has been
yo-yoing up and down since then and is currently (2040z) on -1 so there may
well be a bit of warm advection getting in. The forecasts on BBC News have been
going for temps as low as -7 to -8 in some country areas where there is a snow
cover.
