Sunshine in the morning but increasing amounts of dense high cloud. Sun
disappeared soon after midday as the cloud thickened and lowered, and it
was overcast by mid-afternoon. Damp and drizzly evening. Cold after
early frost with a very slow rise in temperature during the day. Light
SSW to SW wind increased to moderate in the evening.
